In spiritual sanctuary we explore and discover our own truths, obtaining spiritual freedom this lifetime.
We believe in limitless space, timeless endurance, never-ending acceptance, everlasting patience and continuous comprehension.
Jesus asked, “What if one gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”
To a mystic with eyes turned inward toward infinity and cosmic consciousness, his words have great meaning.
Spiritual freedom creates no ideologies, no isms nor dissenting philosophies, which divide, corrupt and destroy communication between human souls.
No governments are upturned, no faiths cut down by the sword, no sect nor type is eliminated.
There exists only one to one contact between the Cosmos and a living soul, which flames quietly, bringing a lifetime of contentment and a realization that nothing is worth exchanging for that attainment.
That is my re-worded version of Lewis Bostwick’s Psychic Creed. At the time, I didn’t appreciate using words like psychic and church; and struggled to say “sects” aloud without cringing about sexual discrimination. Changing it suited my beliefs at the time and didn’t light-up any pictures (aka: push buttons; activate inner drama or trauma) in others (judgements and resistance). Lewis had an inimitable way of lighting-up hidden “material” with great enthusiasm and amusement!
In honor of the man who created it, here is the original:
The Psychic Creed
We of the Church believe in limitless space, timeless endurance, never ending acceptance, everlasting patience and continuous comprehension.
“What if a man gain the whole world and lose his own soul? “ asks Jesus. To a mystic with eyes turned inward towards infinity and cosmic consciousness, his words have great meaning.
Psychic freedom creates no ideologies, no isms, no dissenting philosophies which divide, corrupt and destroy communication between human souls.
No governments are upturned, no faiths cut down by the sword, no sects or types eliminated; only a one to one contact between the cosmic and a living soul, which flames quietly, bringing a lifetime of contentment and a realization that nothing in this world is worth exchanging for that attainment.

For me, this creed represents sovereignty and autonomy—the truth about July 4th, especially this particular Freedom Day. And here are a couple of my expanded definitions; for best understanding, please anchor them on the Spiritual Freedom platform. You can read more about how I interpreted (in 2019) these two concepts here.
Sovereignty: state of complete self-ownership, self-empowerment and self-regulation
Autonomy: condition of self-governance aligned with and acting in accordance with natural law
